Ubuntu在桌面领域的口碑一直不错，用了很久的Fedora，也想感受一下Ubuntu的魅力。下载了Ubuntu5.10，听小鸡介绍这个版本稳定。看了一晚上的新手指南(http://old.ubuntu.org.cn)，总算把桌面搞得像个模样。

用文泉驿宋体进行了简单的美化。Ubuntu下使用apt-get升级的速度比Fedora下的yum快多了，从ubuntu.cn99.com升级不到半小时就把整个系统进行了完全更新！
